Search & Reach Optimisation

When your buyers ask an AI who to trust, we make sure the answer is you.

Your customers have stopped searching and started asking. Ergovero gets your business found, quoted and recommended inside ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Google's AI answers — and makes sure what they say about you is what you want said.

Not a dashboard. Not a score. The work itself.

We take on 12 clients a year. Currently 3 places open for Q4 2026.

AI assistant
Which companies are best for enterprise workforce analytics?

Illustrative example. Company names are placeholders.

Search did not die. It moved — and it stopped sending traffic.

For twenty years, being found meant ranking. A buyer typed a query, scanned ten blue links, and clicked. You optimised for that, and it worked.

That model is unwinding. Buyers now ask an assistant and read the answer. The answer names two or three companies. There is no page two, no scroll, and often no click at all — the assistant summarises, the buyer decides, and your analytics never records the visit that shaped the shortlist.

Two consequences follow, and most companies have absorbed neither.

Consequence one

Ranking on Google no longer guarantees you are cited by AI.

The overlap between the pages Google ranks highly and the sources AI assistants actually cite has collapsed. You can hold position one and be entirely absent from the answer.

Consequence two

The influence happens before you can measure it.

By the time a prospect reaches your website, the AI has already told them who else to consider and how you compare. That conversation happens without you in the room — unless someone has done the work to put you there.

What we actually do

Everyone in this category stops at the diagnosis.

A whole industry has grown up around measuring AI visibility. The tools are good at what they do: they will tell you your score, chart it against your competitors, show you which sources are being cited, and hand you a list of things to fix — get a profile on that review site, join that conversation, place a story with that publication.

Then they stop, because that is where software has to stop. Doing any of it is a different kind of work: research, judgement, writing, restructuring, correcting sources you do not own, and months of unglamorous follow-through.

We do not just tell you that you are invisible. We do the work that makes you visible.

Then you can use one of the dashboards out there to confirm it.

  • We write, rebuild and restructure your own content — comparison pages, definitions, answer-first explainers, and the markup underneath them, so machines can parse and quote you accurately.
  • We trace the third-party sources shaping your reputation, and we go and get them corrected, updated or outweighed.
  • We build presence where your category is genuinely discussed, rather than the places that are easy to reach.
  • We keep doing it, quarter after quarter, because visibility decays the moment you stop.

Two levels

We work on two levels

Most clients start at Level 1 and move to Level 2 once they can see what the data is telling them. Some need both from day one.

Level 1 — Tactical

Search & Reach Optimisation

We identify the questions your buyers actually ask AI assistants, establish where you stand against your competitors in those answers, and then do the work that gets you into them: the keywords, the prompts, the messages and the sources that shape what the models say.

Best for: teams that need visibility and momentum inside a quarter.

Level 2 — Strategic

Strategic Online Positioning

We take a wider view of everything that shapes how AI systems describe you — your own site, third-party reviews, directories, editorial coverage, communities, comparison content — and align it around the position and values you want to be known for. Not just being found. Being understood correctly.

Best for: companies whose category is crowded, contested, or where being described wrongly costs deals.

Why companies choose us

Small, senior, and written down.

Senior people, doing the work themselves

The people you meet at the start are the people who do the work. No pitch team, no hand-off to a junior in month two, no account manager relaying questions to someone you never speak to.

A deliberately small roster

We take on a limited number of clients each year. This is not scarcity marketing. AI visibility work compounds through attention to detail, and we would rather do exceptional work for twelve companies than adequate work for fifty.

Distributed, asynchronous, multilingual

We work across six time zones, in writing, so everything is documented and reviewable on your schedule — no standing calls, no meeting tax. The same distribution is why we run prompt sets in German, French, Italian, Spanish and English, which matters more than most people realise: assistants name different brands depending on the language they are asked in.

A platform you actually control

Your team logs in to see where you appear across every assistant we track, adjust the keywords and messages you want to own, and launch campaigns around them. No ticket queue for a change of direction.

The platform

Your visibility, in one place

Every client gets access from day one. To be clear about what it is: the platform is not the product — the work is. The platform is where you watch the work land and where you steer it.

See the platform in action
  • Visibility — the share of answers where you are named, across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Google's AI answers, with your competitors alongside for comparison.
  • Position — whether you are the first name in the answer or the afterthought at the end. Being mentioned third is not the same as being recommended.
  • Sentiment — how you are described, not just whether you appear. The framing is often where the commercial damage is.
  • Mentions vs. sources — whether the models name your brand, quietly use your content to answer without crediting you, or both. Most companies have never seen this split.
  • By language and market — the same prompts run in German, French, Italian, Spanish and English, because the answers differ.
  • Your controls — add and prioritise the prompts and messages you want to own, and build campaigns around a launch or a repositioning.

Proof

The results are real. The names are not ours to give.

Our clients compete in categories where their visibility strategy is commercially sensitive, and several work in sectors where discretion is a condition of the engagement. We do not publish their names, their prompt sets or their data.

We would rather lose a deal to a firm with a glossier case study page than turn one client's results into marketing material for the next one.

Health sector — from invisible to first

A company in the health sector came to us in early 2025 with effectively no presence in AI-generated answers for its category. Its competitors were being recommended; it was not being mentioned at all.

By early 2026 it had become the most frequently mentioned brand in its category across all the major AI assistants. Twelve months, from absent to first — achieved by changing what the models had to work with, not by monitoring what they were saying.

We are happy to go through this and other engagements in detail at the appropriate point in a conversation, and — where the client agrees — to put you in touch with them directly.

Questions we get asked

The things people want to know before they email us.

What is search and reach optimisation?

Search and reach optimisation (SRO) is the practice of making a business findable, quotable and correctly described across both traditional search engines and AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Copilot. It combines tactical keyword and prompt-level work with strategic positioning across the wider online channels that AI systems draw on.

How is this different from SEO?

SEO optimises for a ranked list of links; search and reach optimisation optimises for a written answer. The mechanics differ: AI systems synthesise from sources they trust rather than ranking pages, they weigh brand presence and third-party mentions more heavily than backlinks, and they favour recently updated, clearly structured content. Traditional SEO still matters — the two compound rather than compete — but strong rankings no longer guarantee you appear in AI answers.

Do AI assistants actually send traffic worth having?

Less traffic, better traffic. Volume from AI assistants is still small relative to organic search, but those visitors arrive far later in the buying process — often already shortlisted, with budget — and convert at several times the rate of ordinary organic visitors. The larger effect is the one you cannot see in analytics: being included in a shortlist that forms entirely inside the conversation, before anyone visits your site.

Is this the same as tools like Peec AI or Profound?

No — those are measurement, we are execution. Analytics platforms track your AI visibility and report it back to you: score, position, sentiment, citations. That is genuinely useful and they do it well. What no dashboard does is close the gap it has just identified, because closing it means writing content, restructuring sites, correcting third-party sources and sustaining that for months. That is our job. Plenty of our clients run a monitoring tool alongside us, and we are glad when they do.

Why are your case studies anonymous?

Because our clients ask us to keep them that way, and their visibility strategy is commercially sensitive. We will discuss specific engagements in detail once a conversation is serious, and where a client has agreed we will introduce you to them directly. What we will not do is publish one client's results to win the next one — which is the same discretion you would get from us.

What is the difference between being mentioned and being cited as a source?

A mention is when an AI answer names your brand. A citation is when your content is used to build the answer — sometimes without your name appearing at all. The two come apart more often than people expect, and the worst version is common: your content answers the question while a competitor gets recommended. We track both, because they need different fixes.

Does this work outside English-speaking markets?

Yes, and it is where the biggest gaps usually are. Assistants frequently name different brands depending on the language of the question, because they draw on different sources — national review sites, local directories, domestic press. A company can be well represented in English and effectively absent in German. We run prompt sets in German, French, Italian, Spanish and English as standard.

How long before we see results?

First movement typically appears within six to ten weeks, with meaningful change over a quarter. AI systems refresh their view of a brand at different speeds, and some effects depend on third-party sources updating. We tell you what is realistic for your category before you commit, not after.
